About Us
An independent Australian channel investigating how technology and government policy shape everyday life.
Tech Win Cyber is an independent Australian YouTube channel about the collision between technology and government. Digital identity, facial recognition, surveillance powers, online safety laws and artificial intelligence are being rolled out faster than most people can follow. This channel slows it down, reads what was actually written, and explains what it means for you.
What the channel covers
- Digital IDHow national and state ID schemes work, who holds the data, and what you can opt out of.
- SurveillanceFacial recognition, camera networks and the laws that decide how they are used.
- Online safety and censorshipeSafety powers, age verification and what they mean for everyday internet use.
- AI and policyHow AI is being regulated, deployed and sold, in Australia and overseas.
How each video is made
- Primary sources first. Legislation, government reports, tender documents and official data come before commentary.
- Claims are checked. Every claim in a script is traced back to a source before it goes to air.
- Corrections are public. If something is wrong, it gets fixed in the description and the pinned comment.
Where it started
Tech Win Cyber began as a cyber security channel, demonstrating security products and frameworks such as privileged access management and the CIS Controls for security teams. That background is still the lens: understanding how systems are built, where data flows and where things break.
